For billboards displayed on private or public premises within the jurisdiction of the local council, the poster must obtain a permit for such display by paying money. It is valid for one year and must be renewed annually. Displaying billboards without a permit is an offense punishable by law. The head of the local government has full legal powers to grant these permits. The relevant fees are clearly published in the gazette issued by the local council annually.
The permit will be issued on payment of the fee prescribed according to the square footage of the exhibit displayed after the direct supervision of the revenue inspector of the local council while issuing the pass.
